Cam bearings... DIY or let the shop do it?

My 3.4 block is about ready for the hot tank. The shop charges $30 to pull and install cab bearings. I am inclined to do it myself to save the $30 using a free tool rental from AutoZone. Should I or shouldn't I?

OK... AutoZone doesn't actually carry the tool and I have no idea else where I could rent one. Looks like the shop will be doing this...
