    Running Rich When Raining

I have a 99 century with a 3.1l v6 in it and it sets of the service engine light when it rains and it will come up with the code p0172 the system to rich on (bank 1) any ideas on what would be causing this would be appreciated.

Sounds like a nick or something in the wire for the bank 1 O2 sensor.

check the downpipe gasket. it could be reading false air from a worn out "ring" style gasket.

maybe water is getting into the plug and shorting things out. look at the weather seal in the plug.
