p0620 dtc - generator control circuit malfunction.

hey ive recently done a 2000 3400 v6 swap on my 97 cavalier and everything was working fine up until a couple days ago. the alternator doesn't charge it will stay going when i boost the battery but the voltage from the alternator gradually drops from 14 + . i took the alternator out and replaced the voltage regulator, bridge rectifier and brushes then i also noticed a bearing was noisey so i replaced that as well. when i re-installed the alternator it still does the same thing, should i get a new alternator or does anyone think the problem may lay somewhere else. any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have gone through the tests for this problem several times and so far it has come back to the voltage regulator. Heh . . . the one part you didn't replace, don't it figure?!?
