Does the 3.1L/3.4L engine have any head bolt holes that go into a water jacket?

I know that the 3100/3400 has all blind holes. It's been too long since I played with a Gen 1 motor to be sure about those.
Since you have a low post count generally the 3.x refers to a Gen 1 or 2 and 3x00 to a Gen 3 or later. The 3500 had two variants which are quite different adding to confusion. Not trying to say you didn't know that just trying to be clear.

The few that I have done I used oil on 1 and thread sealer on the others and never had any problems. A friend of mine has a 1995 Monte Carlo 3.1L and he only put oil on them. The one headbolt on the bottom front that has a stud for a bolt to go in has a very small leak,other than that it runs beautiful.Comment
