    I need some info on lead-in groves(for all mains ?) & cross drilling #'s 2 & 3...
    also enlarging #'s 2 & 3 oil passage dia .. Gen 1..oil is everything...

    It is in the chevy power manual. I think you can download it off this site. FYI all late model cranks have the lead in grooves. The cross drilling is still suggested for racing applications. For anything else the crossdrilling is not needed.

        length of leadin groves ,exactly where,how many & what methods work for bringing up oil pressure,ie; shim, or new spring availability..

          bringing up oil pressure isnt a hard thing to do. i run a mellings high volume pump. some recomend against it, but with a properly built motor it should cause no issues. cold start im 75psi (bypass is supposed to be set up to 70), hot idle is 35 and above 2000rpm im 60, and thats with 10w30 mobile 1 synthetic.

          general rule of thumb says you need 10psi per 100hp. our pumps are more than up to the task.
