    11:1 compression on 3400?

i just want opinions, i was gonna get pistons to make it 10.5:1 but a shop told me i could go 11:1

this is for my daily driver (88 beretta) so it would be runing on pump gas and it has to be reliable... i am also doing a 3500 top end swap, possably a cam, and headers... it WILL also get tuned with tunerpro

do u think that will be to high? i dont want it to knock and retard the timming..

Uhm isn't the 3500 heads bore too big for a 3.1 block? 3100/3400 heads would be the way to go then.. Or start with a 3400 block but then you gotta get a custom mount..

Read the title... 11:1 CR on a 3400.

There have been several people on here that have gone above 11:1, and with proper tuning, ran just fine on pump gas.

            yeah already have the 3400....

hmmm ok, this is a tuff choice now... how much of a power difference would there be from 10.5:1 to 11:1?
