    Headgasket thickness

Are there any different thickness available? What are std. on 2.8? My combo is around 10to1 and i think it is too much for street use.

10:1 compression? 9.6:1 is what stock 3100/3400 have, but stock 2.8/3.1 was 8.9:1 IIRC.

10:1 would be ok with good fuel, if you want to drop it you can go with gen 2 2.8/3.1l gaskets, they are .060 thick, and depending on your combo, can drop up to 0.5.
