Oh snap! I should show that to the Mymonte guys who constantly say "L67 swap?" to everything I ask performance wise about the 3100.

Funny how an N/A 3900 makes the same horsepower and gets better gas mileage than the Supercharged 3800.

Actually I was thinking that must be the BowTie aluminum block.

Wonder if that's where the Gen 3 design came from. Do they have any pics/info on the internals?

so, without power numbers at what rpm, and the fact it's only had preliminary testing--no long term testing for reliability or any track time...just how does this "concept engine" prove that the 3x00's are strong, reliable, and have a lot of potential to make power?? just cause it has straight out headers to twin turbos doesn't mean it'll make 600HP or hold up for a long time. i love the idea though..

If i remember i'll take a magnet with me to see if the block is aluminium or not... I'll probably be there next summer.

Wel.. I think the fact that Mr. Falconer even bothered to prep and reeengineer the engine in the first place should mean something. BTW there are a number of people running them as marine engines pushing them a hell of alot harder than any of us.....FYI these engines have similar dimensions compared to an SBC only metric. With proper machining, balancing and tuning I see no reason why the power couldn't be handled.

No other pics or info. Like I said i think its the aluminum block because the bore on that is smaller...
