Intake manifold swap??

Hey whats up guys? From what im hearing, is it true that i can swap the intake manifolds off of my 3100sfi (1994) for like a 2000+ intake. Then is it true that id get more power since the later years have much bigger intake ports?

OK now lets get compicated: if that is true, what work is involved to get it done?

And im I better off just porting and polishing my existing manifolods. which way would i get more power?

I have a 1995 engine and a 2000 engine sitting side by side and yes they will swap. You'll have to use the upper and lower unit when you swap em. I think that other than that, thats why the newer 3100 might of made more power. Alot cleaner looking too.
