what all would be needed for a 3100 to 3.1 swap?

im curious as to what all would be necessary to swap a 3100 (specifically a late 90's) into an early 90's fwd 3.1 (specifically a z24)-would all the mounts & such bolt up-& would the fule injection system be the same or would you need to totally swap wiring harnesses/computers/etc...? also why does the 90's 3100 have 20 more hp from the 3.1 but the same torque-as well as the hp & tq coming in at higher rpms? thanks guys.

thanks a ton man! that answered a TON of questions-but i still have some remaining-at this point-im highly considering the 3400 out of 98 or so trans sport van-& im curious as to a few things: will the switch from auto to manual cause any problems? what rubber motor mounts should i use/where should i get them from? if i block off the egr what else will i have to do so the cars ecm wont have a fit? also step 13 has me baffled (what does he mean by cts-im not catching the abbreviation)-can someone please explain this in a way that i may understand-and it also states that i should use my old injectors-but if i go from a 3.1 to a 3400 will the 3.1 injectors be enough? thats all my questions-thanks a bunch for that link-that cleared up a LOT of questions & makes me really wanna do the swap-it doesnt seem like it would be too bad-just a tad time consuming & require a lot of little things.
