It's like adding a cam that has very little changes compared to stock profile. Worth it in the end if you have them to install.

    Do it.

You will notice it. I did on my S-10. You should feel it a little more on a light vehicle.

Are they roller or ball/pivot? Ball/pivot from the 94-95 (some 96) 3100 are a direct drop in.

Yes. Early 3100(1994-96/97?) had stamped steel ball/pivot 1.6:1 rockers.

Personally, I don't think the rockers would help the old 2.8L much. The intakes and heads are so restrictive that you would only see gains in the low-end. Most stock Fiero 2.8s loose steam at about 4500rpms.

Its up to you though. Do it if you have nothing else to do and just want to experiment.

94-95 3100 got the ball/pivot. 96 heads had notches for roller rockers, but not all got roller, some still had ball/pivot. 97 was full roller no matter what IIRC. Brad posted the info once.
