No one really knows for sure. But I recall someone from another forum who knew a guy who knew a guy who knew some engineer at GM and said that the OBD 1.5 system can relearn up to %20 more than what the ECM was originally programmed for...whatever that might mean. Take it with a pinch of salt.

Considering most 3x00 V6 OBD1.5 cars came with either 17 or 19lbs/hour injectors, that would be enough fuel for about 220HP and 245HP respectively. Running higher fuel pressure can bump those figures up a bit but don't expect much.

you shouldn't run 3.4 camaro gaskets on a 3400, your piston to head clearance would become an issue.

about the only way to cheaply raise compresison on a 3400 is with a piston swap to the ones from a 3.4 Camaro.. which would net around 12.5 or 13:1.

OBD1, 1.5 and 2 will all compensate to a certain degree, but adding in a large cam will throw things all out of wack. it's just best to swap to OBD1 or 2 to gain the ability to tune.

Im running a 1211 grind cam and p&p'ed intakes on my 94 Olds with OBD1.5. Ive got a slight issue I need to figure out, but before this issue happened its been running strong, and with all the data scans Ive done, and AFR's it seems to be pretty good ( well as good as it will be without tuning )
