i want to add performance to my 2000 olds alero. will I notice a difference with the doctor speed CAI and the pacesetter exhaust? any other tips experiences etc will be appreciated.

You will notice performance gains but unless you are tight on money I wouldn't get the pacesetter since their are better options out their.
