Comp Cams Magnum Roller Rocker Arms

Just wondering if anyone has tried these. I have a set that I was going to put on my 95 Jimmy with a 4.3 when I got around to pulling the heads, but I dont have those 3/8 rocker studs with the 10mm end for the 60* motor. Anyway, these are the 1.6 roller tip full roller rocker arms and also these are self aligning.

Yes, many people have tried them or are currently using them.

No you cannot use them if they are self aligning. Unless you trim the ears off the tip of the rocker. Are these the regular Magnum or Pro Magnum rockers? I know the Pro Magnum ones can be modified to work. Not sure about the stamped ones. But Comp does sell the regular Magnum Roller Tip rockers for the 60 degree v6.

You will need studs with 10MM lower and 3/8" upper threads to use them on the 660.

these are the pro magnum, these are not stamped, they look like extruded pieces but could be of a cast steel. Just wondering if I have to grind any clearance on the LIM or anything else that might need clearance.

Then you need to grind the self aligning ears off the tip of the arm. What 660 is this going into? Gen I and II should not need any work. Gen III you will need to check. It may be ok since the back of the magnum rocker arm is not as large as the aluminum rockers.

2002 has 8mm rocker stud bosses in the heads. You need the 8mm to 3/8's conversion studs.
