the rwd will bolt right on but the 3.4 heads aren't any better. The fwd will also bolt on but requires the intakes also. Its called a hybrid.

So if I get the fwd heads and intake, it should work? and by intake, do you mean everything? or like the intake manifold?

With the fwd head and intake set up you can't use a distributor.

I think I'll just do the rwd heads, then this summer I'll do a 3.4 block swap

Don't bother with the iron heads, unless you are modifying them. The iron heads didn't change from about 1986 through 1995.

Valve duration would com from the cam, not the heads.

Yeah I meant the valves being bigger. I don't know what I was thinking about duration for. and I found a 3.4 out of a 1993 Firebird for 300$ and it will be delivered to my house for 300$ I'm gonna jump on. With only 134K miles pretty good I'd say

All the fuel injection heads have the bigger valves. If the 3.4 is 300.00 then that isn't to bad, but if its 300+ 300 shipping it's not worth 600 for what power its going to give you.

If you want to use that car to get more power, bolt your 2.8 intake to it, and drop it in your car. The shortblock is a direct fit.

300.00 delivered is a good deal and will give you a good starting point for upgrades.
