    05 3400 TB Spring Rate

I would like to get a slightly stiffer feel in my throttle, so I was thinking the easiest and best way to do so would be to increase the spring tension on the throttle body itself. There isn't much performance thinking behind this, just a personal preference in pedal feel. My 05 impala has a pretty soft pedal and I would just like to firm it up, but pretty notably, maybe 50% stiffer. Any ideas?

u could always take the tb apart and cut the spring a little bit shorter, then bend it to a 90 degree to hook back up, that would raise the pressure..

You could do what I did with my old TB... Go to an autoparts store and buy an old carburetor spring and rig it up to close your TB plate. Let's see if I can find a pic of what mine looked like...
