    computer question

will having the computer "tuned" in my 2000 alero be something i can feel?
I just have a drop in k&n filter and a dynomax muffler. Maybe slightly firmer trans shift points and a degree or two bump in timing for a bit more mileage?
    please reply...........thanks Ben
