    06 Impala 3500 intake

    I looked at an intake off of a 06 Impala 3500 and the back has a V shape to it. This seems to be different that the 3500 intake in the store. Any advice on using/buying this on my hybrid 3.4/3500.

    It's probably the VVT version you are seeing. That would be why the 2 are different.

        This is what it looks like. 3500 Impala motors have 2 different 8th digit vin number K which I think is flex fuel and N which I don't Know.

          Yes, that is the VVT version, and is based off of the 3900, not the 3400, therefore the parts are not interchangeable.

            Well thanks guys, saved me some time and money. Although I was going to get a good deal on the heads and intakes. Oh well ,I'll keep looking
