I looked at an intake off of a 06 Impala 3500 and the back has a V shape to it. This seems to be different that the 3500 intake in the store. Any advice on using/buying this on my hybrid 3.4/3500.

It's probably the VVT version you are seeing. That would be why the 2 are different. -

This is what it looks like. 3500 Impala motors have 2 different 8th digit vin number K which I think is flex fuel and N which I don't Know.Comment

Yes, that is the VVT version, and is based off of the 3900, not the 3400, therefore the parts are not interchangeable.-Brad-
