where to buy CAI piping

i would like to make my own cai this summer with the alum tubing, not that gay ass dryer shit, anyone know where i can buy this and the grommets? Thanks Jay

Cheap: Best bet would be to browse eBay and buy a kit that looks about the right shape and size. That's what I did.

Not as cheap: Or you can talk to "Stencil" on W-Body about it, he can get bulk piping.

Go to a shop that sells parts for big rigs and diesels. Where I live a 10' section costs $111.85 cdn for 4" aluminum piping. They will also sell all of the different elbows and clamps you will use. I am going to fab up a bunch for all of my vehicles but in a ram air setup. Hope this helps

Only use 3".

And after you get it, put it inot a vice to crimp the edges into an oval since that is the shape of the 3.1.

I made my own CAI on my lumina, and i found that the best way to do it is to get a 45 degree elbow of 3" exhaust pipe, and then you need about 4 inches of 3" fuel hose, and slap a filter on the end of it, and you are good. It cost me about 20 bucks to make and it works awesome.

That's not true cold air induction. Anyone can slap a filter onto a pipe and leave it in the engine bay. We are talking about moving the filter to the fender.
