#5 exhaust valve?

Took my valve covers off and found my #5 lifter is not pumping up. before I tear intake off any sugestions? GM crate 3.4L S15
I already put tranny fluid in oil did not help

next part lifters are thet really making any differance? I got a turbo for this truck. If I new i was going to take intake off i would have searched for a supercaharger.

Have you confirmed you have the right lash. Have you toughed the motor or changed anything from the way you received it? A bad lifter is not unheard of but personally I have never seen a new one that was bad.
