What can I do for the EGR in my 1996 beretta? do I have to buy the adaptor plate or can I hook up the 3500 EGR?

Hook up the 3500 EGR. you'll need the EGR tube that goes to the exhaust manifold as well.

      Easy as can be.

i dont think the 3500 egr will run properly bein that its from a newer car and shouldnt really interchange parts when it comes to things like that.

i would reccomend buyin the adaptor and usin your stock egr

          Uhm,

          1) There is no adapter to adapt a 96 EGR to a 2000+ EGR as they are the same thing just mount differently. They are both OBDII EGRs.

          2) They have the exact same internals and electrical insides/connections.

It's no different than swapping exhaust tips... they may look a little different, but function the exact same
Or here is a better example, swapping MAP sensors... I swapped to the 3500 MAP sensor, different connector, but gives the exact same reading as the old OBD1 sensors.
