I have a 02 3100 malibu with a rsm kit and 28 lb injectors that are maxed out, i would like to go a little bigger like about 30, i really don;t which ones will work with my fuel rail, i;m pretty sure some of the ford injectors will work but don;t know which ones, did the search couldn;t find anything, seems like other guys with the 8 lb rsm kit are using the 28 lb injectors, i;ve only got headers and a 2 one half inch exhaust, got a new fuel filter and the fuel pressure is good 48 with vacuum and 54 without. any ideas.

injectors from a L67 fit and work well. You may have to change the connectors on the harness though. They are 36lb/hr @ 55PSI. That'll give you room to grow.

rsm kit
I bought a used rsm kit from blackly gp or someone with a name like that off this site, before i could use it , i had to have the pulley end build up with weld and machined plus a new keyway in both the pulley and shaft plus new high speed bearings and seal, and yes the kit was for a 3400 grand am,it fit my malibu with no problem, about the injectors, do you think there to big for the few mods i got. stock motor, except headers and 2 one half exhaust, i would like a set of those high lift rockers, but i guess that will not happen till christmas.Comment
