Well, for now, you can polish the front cover, prey your timing chain holds, and use SBC Gold rockers

I'm willing to pay a fair amount of cash for a set of Crane Gold "already-modded" 1.6 rockers for my 3500.

The timing chain is a concern with the new parts, but I'm hoping the pre '99 stuff holds up, and the valve cover is just BLING!

I'm OLD!! I like BLING DAMMIT!!!

You are getting a cam... just wait until the scorps are ready and go with 1.7 or 1.8... If those will work with your springs... Not sure what lift that works out to be.

Well crap mo stank! It sound like you needed a pick me up, so I suggested a higher ratio for a lift!

Send the funds my way I can put it to use! .... hell I can route you to a direct payment center.

It would be nice to see the official parts, not read about it.

I ordered pushrods with the cam.

Forget if I ordered hardened. I'm thinking NO.

                        So guide plates not req'd?

And thanx Dave, it appears the stock rockers will have to do for now.

you can not use guide plates on pushrods that are not heat treated. they will wear in two.

                            QFT!

The weaker metal will always lose in a friction based battle. This is why crank bearings are soft.
