    LIM flip for hybrid buildup...

Okay guys, as some of you may know, im going to be starting a 1g2.8/3400 hybrid build soon.

Like this will be in a rwd nissan truck, I prefer to have the coolant line coming out at the front of the engine, for obvious reasons...

I havent disassembled the 2.8 yet, as it is still my daily driver, but I just want to know if I can flip the LIM to have the coolant line at the front side of the engine.

Thanx in advance for your help

Yes, BUT, some years of the iron heads had a tab on the top of the timing cover. Just hack it off to clear the FWD coolant neck (gen2 FWD might be ok).You will see exactly what I mean when you try to bolt them together through

@ forced: Did you run any issues running a g.3 top end?
Seems like im doing something pretty similar to you except with a 2.8 and a 3400 top end.
The only thing that worries me for now is the cooling system.

I would be more worried about how you are going to get a crank reference signal for the DIS.
