First post in awhile, i have a 3.1l turbo motor im starting to rebuild it.
My mods to the motor are t3/t4 turbo, bored .20 over, ported and vavle jobs on it.

I was wondering what camshaft i should i use for my setup?

by 3.1, do you mean the LH0/LG5, or a 3100?

its the lg5 the motor from a 89/90 grand prix gtp but im putting it in my cavalier

you should have looked into the GT2860R/RS compressor then.... thing is a GREAT match for the motor, assuming no portwork, so i can only imagine you'll need to go a bit bigger to match the flow....

Turbo cams are next to non existant for that motor from what i understand. the stock cam is decent for boost. Turbo cams are generally pretty mild. I would get ahold of Kuntzie, he has a pretty wicked TGP. you should be able to email/PM him on the board here, just search for his name.

i know kuntzei bought my motor off of him, thats what i was thinking of doing, he is driving a grand prix now with the 3.1l motor and has about 400hp, i saw his dyno slip, thats why i was asking
