I relize there are a lot of variables but what would be the reasonable power exspection from a 3.4/3400 / 60-1 turbo at 15#?

think of it this way: all things remaining the same, stuffing another atmosphere(14.7PSI) down an engine's TB will double it's HP. a 3400 is rated at what, 190HP?

assuming a good intercooler and the turbo being correctly sized, figure it would bump itself up to around 380HP at 15PSI. i don't know if a 60-1 is a good match for a 3400 though, i've never looked into them.

that, IMO, is a good idea of what an otherwise stock 3400 will accomplish at 15PSI with a 60-1.

that compressor gets REALLY close to surge and doesn't even get close to peak efficiency. too large for the motor as-is.

there are certainly better compressors to match a 3400.

here's 3 good examples, all T04Es.

That 2.02 pr is at 6000 rpm's and about 44 lbs/min
