Speed Pro 3400 V6 Hypereutectic Pistons

Just curious about these pistons. What kind of compression ratio can these safely handle when using forged rods as well?

They are stock compression ratio (9.5:1).

2 options, 12.6:1 or the 9.5:1 on a 3400 with 3400 heads, with 3500 heads it drops around .5 points.

how is the 12.6:1 achieved? through the cam, heads and pistons combo?

You buy pistons from an iron head motor.

let me rephrase my question whats the highest compression i can get using the Hypereutectic Pistons using the 3400 heads, and a custom cam

cam effects static CR, pistons is really the only logical way to change your CR, using RWD pistons, the CR goes up.
If you get pistons through wottech you can order them for what ever CR you want. your only options otherwise are 9.5:1 (which is lower than stock by .2 points) or 12.6:1 which is rather high. some say they have ran that with pump gas and a good tune.

I think you mean dynamic CR.

Huh? Never seen any of these engines have 9.7:1. Its either 9.5 or 9.6, but never 9.7.

12.6:1 which is rather high. some say they have ran that with pump gas and a good tune.
A tune is REQUIRED if you want to run that high. But yes, with proper tuning, you can run up to about 13:1 on pump gas.

so to run the 12.6:1 you say i can order rwd pistons from wottech. Now my question is are those the Speed Pro Hypereutectic Pistons that your talking about? I am just confused about what pistons you are talking about when you say rwd

You can't order those from WOT-Tech. All you can order from WOT-Tech is forged Diamond pistons. For the RWD pistons, you need to order pistons for a 93-95 3.4L f-body.

Stock is 9.64 so I rounded it up lol, and yes I guess I ment dynamic cr, thanks for the correction Brad.

You can get your speed pro pistons from summitracing. Basically your looking at the pin height, I got it written down somewhere what pin height will give you what cr, that or brad knows it off hand lol
