Vacuum Hose

Hi there,

I have a '92 3.1L engine. I have a vacuum leak. I hear it hissing and when I cover the fitting the engine runs a little smoother. I see nothing for the line to connect to. When I look at the Diagram on the hood it says it goes to the HVAC / Cruise. I do not have Cruise, so is the line suppose to connect to anything?

Forget my question. I found a spot for the hose to connect to. My engine runs a little smoother now. Wonder if it will affect my gas mileage?

these engines are famous for cracked and broken vaccum lines, those 3 lines that go to the TB are a night mare, double wall heat shrink, or a wrecker are really your best options. And yes this will effect fuel economy.
