    Compression Ratio Question

I found some after market 3400 dished pistons that didn't have the dish cc listed but did give 3.140 in. dia. .270 in. depth which I calculated as 34 cc.These are suppose to be a replacement for stock pistons which I see listed as 28.6 cc. Anyone want to do the math and see if I got it right?

That's where I got the specs for a 3.4 and 3400 engines, but doesn't help in determing the cc for an aftermarket replacement piston, which you would think would be the same as stock.

RockAuto lists Sealed Power replacement pistons with the dish as .275 deep x 3.180 dia.; so I'd say you're right in the ballpark.

The compression comes out 9:1 depending on overbore / head gasket, etc. using 3400 heads on the 3.4 block, which is what I'm looking for.
