Interesting about the stock air filter being restrictive. That's what I'm using with my 3500 swap an it still dynoed at over 200whp.
Decision help for my Fiero - V6/60.

If it's the one that says HOLLEY on it, those are the original aftermarket side scoops. They used to go for a lot of money on Ebay, but haven't seen many of them around anymore. Fiero Store was making there version that said FIERO on them, but last I heard, they discontinued them also.Originally posted by Superdave View PostI still have a Holley intake scoop for a Fiero sitting around, If any of you guys want it just let me know.. lol87 Fiero GT

We use the later model with 3400 SFI grounded off. Unless you have a mirror on your decklid, looks kinda weird staring at it upside down.Originally posted by Purple pit View PostDid you use a 99 upper intake?
here's what it looked like when I did the swap the first time, alternator is in stock location.

IMO, the only reason to stick with the iron heads is if you have one of these...Originally posted by caffeine View PostI really don't understand the + side of sticking with iron heads. Swapping the full motor is so easy it's just not worth it.

Unfortunately, it only fits the iron heads.Last edited by Blacktree; 04-09-2013, 01:45 AM.

Even then, not worth it... unless it's built just for show.
