Engine Swap Dilemma

I have a '93 S-10 with a 2.8 liter that has throttle body injection. I was thinking of putting a 3.4 liter in it, but I can only find one for the earlier models with a carburetor instead of TBI. Is there a version made for a TBI system?

Just swap a 3.4 bottom half into your truck, using the TBI intake mani. A little tuning, and voila! A buddy of mine did that to his '87 using a 3.4 from a '94 Firebird, it was quite nice!

I have heard of people using the crate engine in an EFI S-series, without any problems, but this does void the warrenty, which I still have yet to figure out why. :?
