    Valvetrain

Iam in the process of rebuilding a 1990 turbo grand Prix motor for my 92 grand Prix. Doing some research I am looking at upgrading the can to crane h260 cam for a little more power. Is there any supporting mods that I need to do? Like valve springs? This is no all out build just a little extra kick while I got everything apart.

Yes, getting some better than OEM springs will be good. This was one thing I didn't do on my Franken60 and feel it really held the build back.

Let us know how it works out. I have 3 LG5 motors here. I wouldn't mind building up the spare with some go fast parts. :-)

Buy a COMP Cams K Kit you get everything with one part number. You can add 1.6:1 roller tip rockers for $125. Best investment I ever made into my Trooper motor.
