edelbrock on alum heads on iron block, possible ?

building a 2.8 for my 2000 lbs Opel GT
Was curious if this is a workable combination ?
Will the Edelbrock intake work on the aluminum heads ?
Obviously this is a RWD setup
|Or are the iron and aluminum heads just to different ?

there are a couple people on here with a Falconer ITB intake manifold they might sell if you wanted to go that route. it bolts to the iron heads
