    Pushrod Vtec!?

    Check out this site:



    They make aftermarket an Variable Valve Lift setup for pushrod engines,
    60 degree v6 too!

    It only changes the lift not the timing, but it has 3 different positions for different rpm ranges.

    Site is kind of old though, probably worth calling them to see if they are still around.

    I wonder if it makes a difference with engines that have lower RPM ranges for power. There are some plans for electronic valves in the future from GM.

      This topic has been discussed before. IIRC though, the aluminum head guys can't use them because they don't work on splayed valve heads. So unless you swap to iron heads (which would negate any gains these could provide anyway), these are a no go.
