    3400 front cover change

So, planning to convert a 3400 from the fwd accessories to rhe rwd setup. Timing chain cover, water pump and all. This is to allow the engine to be used rwd easier (the 3400 is already stuffed in my miata for a few years. I need power steering and a thermostat now).

I have everything from the 3.4 camaro from the block out. Chain cover, balancer, etc. All of it.

Whats the scoop on mating it to the 3400 block? Anything to watch out for, or is it all pretty straightforward? Anything to know about timing cover to oil pan?

I think the biggest thing will be the thermostat housing, if I remember right, it takes some work around to fit.

        Howabout a build thread?

Any idea if the oil pan needs to come out for this? That changes scope immensely.

the oil pan shouldn't need to come out for that.
