i dont think it makes much difference either way, i think you're better of with the 3100 pistons personaly, they have the quench thing going on which is better.If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.

i just tinkered on the DD2K program, a 3100 piston bored .030" and using the headgaskets i got at KOI (3.652" bore x .055" (uncompressed)) it came up to 9.89:1, the 3.1piston sort of came weakly over the 9.3 mark i think. it all depends on what you want to do. not sure in the thckness of the gasket when compressed, it might have an issue, but if i rember correctly the pakage it came in seemed to have a pretty universal aplication. youd have to check to be sure tho.If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.

H692 or H809, add a CP to the end of either one for the skirt coatings to prevent cylinder wear.If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.
