Let me know if there is something I can do to help, Brad. Like I told you via PM, it would be nice to get this put together as a kit and sell it on the store.

I like the idea of a universal IAC adapter and different top adapters. I know a pretty good machine shop around my area that has always done great on price. I would like to have them get me a price quote when the designs are complete.

This sounds very interesting. would be easier than making whole new TBs as well.

fyi, my 65mm TB was $10 shipped off ebay, so there are deals to be had.

That's why I mainly asked the question. There are tons of 65mm Ford TB's on ebay for super cheap.

I haven't had a chance to mess with it anymore this week. Maybe this weekend I'll get around to doing something with it. And I'll try to get a "shop drawing" sheet developed with all the measurements and such.

Like I said Brad, let me know if you need anything from me. I have a spare 2001 3100 intake and TB sitting in my car as I type this.

                  RE: modding

The Ford TB's that we are talking about have a different IAC setup than the stock 3x00. Therefore, a remote mounted IAC is needed.

i mean couldnt you mod one or something like this to get the remote mount without having to make it from scratch? drill the hole and tap 2 others for the iac to bolt onto or make it so a larger holder will bolt onto it?

The spacer would have to be at least 1.5" thick in order for it to work.

Well I finally have a Ford 5.0 65mm tb and the 3500 upper intake....My question, is what do I do now to get it all to fit? Otherwise I'll just drill into the tb, but I don't want it if I don't have to.....
