    Yea but you need the budget of both. You do still end up with a parasitic loss when cruising with no boost.

    I think Magnacharger/Eaton is on the right track with their bypass valve that almost removes the parasitic losses when not using boost.

      one of the most difficult setups to use and make work effectivly and alot of the time you can do better with a VGT or staged twin turbo setup
