4.3 TB on a 3.1?

would a TB off of an early 90s 4.3l chevy truck bolt up to the manifold on my 92 3.1l firebird? also would i have to reprogram the ecm to get the most out of it, & how much hp do you think it would add if it worked?

if that wont work, would the whole upper intake (plenum, tb, etc...) fit in place of the one on my motor?

No it wont bolt on. No the manifold from a 4.3L will not work.

You can make the throttle body work but you need an adapter plate. However the TB is huge anyways and not worth the effort. It is just too larger for that motor.
