IIRC, a HV oil pump is made for rwd 2.8/3.1, and that to use this pump on the fwd 3.1L you have to do something to the fwd block. Im wondering what has to be done to make it work on the fwd drive block.

The pump in 3.4L and 3400's is a high volume pump. Use it. All the pumps should be hte same I have never seen any difference. They all just use 1 bolt1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
