    custom intake

what you you guys thing of taking the stock lower off a gen 1 injected motor and making a plate to mount a small plemum to mount a carb too. i have looked at the eldelbrock intakes and i don't like the fact that the ports on one side are larger than the other, and i haven't seen a offy intake yet but i think a ported lower injected manifold would flow pretty good. so what do you all think, by the way i plan on running the motor from 2000-6500rpm.

There was somebody over on the fiero forum that did this, said they liked it better than the Edlebrock lower. Another option is to open up a gen1 carb intake, with an adapter plate for a 4-barrel. I have a picture somewhere of one like this.
