    91 isuzu 3.1L pushrod length??

I managed to mix up the pushrods when I tore the engine down to replace the head gaskets. The manual, haynes and chiltons, says that the intake and exhaust pushrods are different lengths. But, every parts listing I can find for 91 3.1L pushrods say that the intake and exhaust are the same.
    Which is true?
If there is a difference in length, I can't tell. What would the difference be?

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to check it out tomorrow.
Napa shows one part number only, suggesting that they are the same.

I just though of something... That would be an iron head 3.1, not an aluminum head. So I looked up the pushrods on GMPartsDirect, and they only show one PN as well. Not having messed with the iron heads at all, there is a good chance they are the same length.

If they are all messed up anyway, just put them all together and check for different lengths. I would venture to say the exhaust ones will be longer if they are different sizes.

if it's an iron head 3.1 then it dosen't have the splayed valves and the pushrods are all the same size.

Thanks guys! If any are longer than the others, it can't be noticed with the eye!

They are all the same. Just slap em all back in. Who cares where they go.

The difference in pushrod length that you find on the Gen II and III motors is 1/4". You can tell by eye.

Be very cautious of the info you read in over the counter repair manuals. They are more of a helpful guide.
