Is FFP the only company that makes poly dog bones for 3100 w-bodies... for some reason i had the idea that RSM made them, but im not sure. just lookin for the easy way to get poly mounts.. thanks

RSM deffinately isnt my first choice by any means. they sold out anyhow to some ricer company, so its not the same anyhow. but the question is, does anyone else make dogbone mounts? I will probably go with ffp anyhow, but i still wanted to price them out.

Ah hell I noticed you have a Grand Prix, upper dog bones then? I think FFP is the only one that makes them for the older stye. If it was the lower one, then you could go with the RKsport one.

Try some L67 sites like 3800peformance.com, they might be the same upper dog bones, im not 100% sure though.

With Poly-Bushings? Or did you go solid?

Out of all the mounts on these cars.. the Dogbone would be the easiest to fabricate... some 1" steel tubing and a little creativeness with the ends so you can get some poly bushings to fit in there and you'll be set...

Not sure about your upper ones but i'm planning on making 1 or 2 lower ones for the Jbodies to see how they turn out. Steel > cast aluminium

Does anyone have any idea if the motor mount insert that RK sport has for the 2.4l cavs will fit in a 96 GP mount position (r.h. = front)

                        Lower or upper mount??

Lower, it should for a Beretta it needs to be cut down on one side because it is fatter.

This should be a good thread to ask this in, what about poly upper mounts for a 96 GP (3100).

ok, sorry it took me a while.. but yes i used the windshield poly.. its not quite as stiff as i hoped, but ill see. and the newer style mounts for the 96 GP can be switched with the older ones, but you need the older style bracket that connects to the car.
