Here is an online master's thesis done by a University of Nebraska student on the the use of ethanol (E85) in vehicles. This is becoming a trend in the automotive industry, with manufacturer's coming out with E85-specific vehicles. The objective of this research is to determine the criteria needed for a modern fuel injected vehicle to use E85. The student converted his 3100-powered Malibu for E85 use. I haven't read it all, but it looks like some interesting stuff.
