Site move Complete!

Ok folks we are on new servers now. I am helping Ben and Brad get things up and running. Right now we just have the forum but will be loading an all new content and news system for our articles and news postings.

As you can see there are a couple bugs with the current setup which we will teak out first thing. Please post here and let us know of any issues you may have.

Some currently known issues:

1. Date display is funky (goto your profile and remove whatever is entered for the Date Format Field)
2. A few smiles are broken
3. Some avatars are broken (please re-do your avatar if it is broken)

cool deal, give me a couple weeks and we will have it working, the forum wasnt too bad since we stayed with PHPBB and just stripped out the heavy CMS integration. The new system will require a lot of script writing but it should be a much easier to manage system.

hopefully more storage space and more bandwith. everything else other than preserving the information takes second place in my book.

are we getting the homepage setup back from be4 out of curiousity? i liked the way that was setup with all the drop down menus etc..

This is actually an "old" look. We were using this look before we decided to update the site a couple (or maybe only 1?) years ago. It was before we had a more integrated site. But it is nice going bad to this design...

the look and feel is likely to change one more time in the near future, this was just the most convient to use to start with. I was more concerned with how it worked as opposed to how it looked.

More to come, I have a test setup running on my laptop with a CMS system supporting SSO (single sign on). Also how about a gallery? It would be similar in fucntion to the one used on MyMonte (http://www.mymonte.com/gallery)

it even supports the use of personal albums

you may have a problem if you link directly using http://60degreev6.com/discussion

you should either goto

or

http://60degreev6.dreamhosters.com/discussion

that should fix your login issue. This is only temporary as there are some people who still wont be able to access the site by going to 60degreev6.com. It will change in a couple days.
