Well just this week I got an engine for my 1999 Oldsmobile Alero. It had a V6 btw and i went to the yard and got a 2000 model 3400 from an Impala or Venture im not sure. Mostly everything was the same only difference was the fuel lines,EGR valve,coolant temp sensor.
My question, is there any difference in power from 99 to 2000?
The original 3400 engine had no year marks stamped onto it, but the one from the yard says 99. whats the difference?
