Thanks. I hope to make it to the track one more time and mabey make a new best time again. But im afraid im starting to gamble with breaking something in the drivetrain with 60 foots that hard.

I finally did it. Ran 3 11 second passes this weekend. The best being the 11.70@115.9Mph
Had a 1.64 60 foot on that pass.

I worked the rear brakes and adjusted them so i could hold boost at the line. Same tune as before on 14.5Psi. It worked this weekend. Was a rocket. Heres a vid and the slip.

I got a hellof a deal of a new set last year so there big slicks. I couldn't pass them up. 28x10s and 3.73 gears in the rear.

What size slicks do you run?

Little update. 37 Passes to day: New best is 12.25@114mph. Finally got a 7 second 1/8 mile time. Running 14psi of boost now but still footbraking.

Track conditions are always good where i go. This year so far ive only taken it out on days where the DA is average and not very good/hot humid days. Im excited for some cool fall days.

The top end hybrid swap did all the work. The car actaully pulls very hard down track now. Before once 5k rpm it would start to slow down and you could just tell that it was restricted. The higerh compression compared to my prevous, the tube headers compared to last years log headers, the dis, the intakes, and aluminum heads, all helped to make the car have a better overall combination on the RPM areas where I use to lack the power i wanted.

Would you attribute thast to track conditions , your foot, or changes in weight to the car ? Sounds like a nice improvement overall And getting it dialed in I always nice !!

Well I picked up about 7mph average on trap speed at the same boost level as last year and picked up a solid .45 of a second on the 1/4 mile time. The tune actually has less timing then last year, but about the same boost. 13psi

Update 21 Passes later the car is still running good. Solid 12.50-60 car at 13psi. Love the hybrid setup.

Why is this completely unrelated string being posted in fasteddi's thread? I come here to read about fasteddi's progress, not someone who can't figure out why their (unrelated) engine won't run well.

ALL, absolutely every, no exception 60 degree v6s in this GM engine family are firing order 1,2,3,4,5,6. If placing the plug wires on the properly placed coil terminals is not working to have the engine run well, then you have another problem and should likely start your own thread about it, instead of mucking up someone else's thread.
