That's funny shit! I guess my drop in K&N is good for 30HP at the wheels, HEHEHE!

No ported heads though, sell him a set of yours Sappy and he'll be good for 300HP at the wheels.

well according to ppl that did these types of mods and dynoed them, then that is how much i have. but ne ways no need to start a fight i removed where it says my horsepower, it seems everytime i make a post i get yelled at. but hey if you guys say it dont make 265 then it dont , you guys should know best.i dunno i just heard that the cam timing gives you about 20 hp then the port an polish on the plenum gives you 10 hp then the intake gives you another 10 and then the TB i dont even know but the exhaust gives you about another 10 hp and the chip is another 10hp and then the filter i dont know but when you add it up it gives you 210+20+10+10+10 is 260 plus maybe another 5 for the TB and the K&N, and the reason i dissapeared is because i totalled my car and i am just now getting things fixed. hows this ill take pics of my progress just to show you that i do know what im talking about.

Yah, but when you combine mods they don't add up the same anymore. I'm curious what it makes though, cause that's all the easy bolt on stuff, how much was all that stuff anyway, $1000.00 or so? It would be nice to tack some real numbers to those mods. There is alot of controversy on here about them. You should get yours dynoed

you guys dont have to be assholes to me ,all i did was come on this site and ask a simple question, i did not make any big claims or boast about bullshit, i asked a simple question, it seems like this fourm turned into a big place for people to get ripped down, i remeber when this fourm was about helping people , and people actaully helped people. shit i dont know why it changed so very much.

I plan to dyno some seperate mods this year for my business. I too would like to know, but you also have to take into account the porting varies and you can mess things up or improve them. Plenum especially.

The Ford SC is a much better choice than the GM version for custom setups. The GM version has an integral bypass valve, and a very irregular mounting flange. The Ford has a much simpler, 4-bolt square outlet. This makes it easier to mount off the side of the engne, lke the Magnuson 3400 kit.

yeah i relize that i should get my car dynoed and then post the results but the car wont be on the road until this sc is installed plus with the engine rebuilt , so it wont be for awhile cuz i cant drive the car with a bent frame. but yeah i relize that i shouldnt say my car has that stuff. and the porting and polishing was free i did it myself and i opened the ports up extra wide. but for every thing else i dont know how much it cost.

I'll be waiting, that's my dream project. I'm always looking for a decent 3800 S/C to buy. When that happens god help us, and my tranny. I don't care if I have to modify my hood, I think I'm just going to get a custom carbon/kevlar one made up any way. I think it would look some thing "like" the 1990 eagle talon with the bump in it, or I might put in a small scoop to cool the S/C. I don't Know, I need to increase my 3.4DOHC knowledge base first anyway. Listen to me babble, I get a giddy just thinking about it. HEE HEE HEE.

SOB! I guess I just lost the reply I had typed up. Anyways, I second the notion of "good luck getting that thing in there." I think some of you guys would find it easier to adapt a Toyota roots style supercharger into the 3.4 engine bay due to the design/makeup of the body of the blower itself. The supercharger I speak of is the Toyota SC-14 that was used on older MR-2's, Soarer's, Cressida's, and Toyota Previa vans to name a few(some models are only available supercharged in japan as far as I know). The SC-12 is another option, it displaces ~1200cc whereas the SC-14 displaces ~1400cc...the Eaton M90 only displaces ~1474cc if I'm using the right conversion factor. The M90 moves 90 cubic inches of air as far as I know so 1cubic in = 16.387064cc so 90 multiplied by 16.387064 = 1475cc(rounded up). So it is comparable in size, so I would venture to guess it could produce similar results? Anyways, it's easy to use a FMIC w/ the yota' blower because of the way the inlet/outlet is designed on some of them. Just throwing out ideas for you guys. I'm going to possibly help my brother supercharge his 2.2 4cyl S-10 w/ one of those toyota superchargers as it would fit nicely in place of the stock ac compressor.

EDIT: Another thing about those sc's is that they have electromagnetic clutches that you can wire up to a toggle switch...boost at the flip of a switch would be pretty sweet.

I have a custom tuned chip, ported and polished heads, modified cam timing, K&N, and tapered/polished TB and a 5 speed swapped in place of the old auto. Are you going to say that my car doesn't have any more power then stock because I don't have a sheet either? I am not sticking up for anyone, just making a point.

Eat it! You know what I mean. There are plenty of over the top aftermarket claims saying shit like these plug wires can give you 20HP and shit like that. The point is nobody knows how much you have untill you have proven numbers. So guess if you want too, but in the end you could say your car has 400 HP and who's going to be the wiser?
