I hope I don't have to move the battery because if I do then I need a shut off switch accessible from the outside of the vehicle... Not something I want to be drilling and putting in place. I think I have the space on the strut tower if I had to do that, but damn those wires are going to have to be LONG... I'd also have to extend the ICM and CPS wires to reach, not a huge deal with that though.

may not have a choice as berettas dont have very many places to put anything. but could make more room and relocate battery to trunk and move some other things around to accomodate them and extra plumbing under the hood

Mounted on the strut tower, not something I like.

no they are not, I think they are like 45 each or something like that, I had to do one on my father inlaws mustang that had an intermittent skip.

My neighbor has an F250 with the 5.4 and he has gone through a few of those coils. He said they weren't cheap either.

I was thinking more in the lines of a fabed mount held by the front strut mount bolt. I have seen a few of the Ecotec guys do that.

After reading this one line, I'll pass on the ford COP setup...
The Motorcraft Coil # DG-508 is the hottest coil in the industry. This one coil fits all Ford Passenger, Truck, Van, and SUV vehicles with 4.6L, 5.4L, and 6.8L (2v) engines ranging from model year 1997-2008. They have a high failure rate and have been frequently on backorder by the industry due to the high order demand. Our package is multi-labeled with the Motorcraft, SMP, BWD, KEM, and Wells part numbers. Your choice of predominant number. One year unlimited mileage warranty, imported.Last edited by 3400-95-Modified; 12-07-2012, 02:26 PM.

actually, it can be done, though you'll still be waste-spark. dwell might need to be messed around with too.

Right in between my cruise control, ABS comp and Brake booster right? LOL no real space there hence my dilemma... And how the hell would you control a COP setup with the stock ICM and ECU that I'm using... Explain that and maybe I'll think about it, but I'm not about to complicate things.

Any suggestions on where to mount the coil packs? There is no way they will fit in the stock location with two nozzles back there.

Yeah I don't have the progressive controller yet, but it will be very nice to have... As far as launching goes... Nothing to learn with the progressive setup, I can go back to loading the converter and just flat footing it on green... it works really well that way N/A and I have consistent N/A slips to prove that. Current launch setup is tricky since I have to pay attention to wheel chirp and then enable the Nitrous system when I have enough momentum and traction to not break it free...

Wow Pinkys tranny is going to stop screaming now
Progressive power without the initial slam will create alot more consistent times
You gotta learn how to launch again LOL
