Hey, just thought I'd introduce myself, I've owned 57 cars and just purchased my first 60 degree powered ride, a 1993 Pontiac Firebird. Now I bought it with the plan to LS swap it but after driving it these past 3 months, I absolutely love this V6, it pulls hard, at least mine does. I mean no shortage of power. I believe its stock minus an unknown brand catback that looks like its been on since the 90s, and a hot air intake which does nothing but lose power but my stock one got a hole in it so threw this on for now. I got a few ideas in the works. I'm probably going to convert it to carb, just for simplicity, I'm going minimal electronics in this car, hence the carb. Need to do the lifters so probably going to upgrade the cam at the same time and of course rockers. Not building for all out power, I'm a handling sort of guy hence why I'm staying with the V6, the car has the F41 suspension and handles very very well. So want to keep that.

Welcome to the site
I can't really help with the iron head or carbs, but I probably don't need to since a carb swap and adding a distributor should be straight forward based on the older 60V6s having that. Id probably use the edelbrock intakes and the holley 390 carb, though there might be another carb option.
